We are moving forward!

Soon, Lynchburg will have 28 new fully accessible apartment homes for individuals with disabilities! Old Forest, LLC under the management of Rush Homes has been approved for Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) as well as other funding to support the development of Old Forest Village. LIHTC is a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for affordable housing investments. It was created under the Tax Reform Act of 1986 (TRA86) and gives incentives for the utilization of private equity in the development of affordable housing.

We are now in pre-development stages. Rush Homes hopes to break ground on the project in May of 2017. If you have seen machinery on the site lately, know that they were there to bore holes and test ground quality. Take a look below at the site plans and building drafts.
